The Indian Nostradamus

He is called the Indian Nostradamus. He predicted several events for 5,000 years of the Kali Yuga in his book called Kala Gnana.
The Kala Gnana is a series of poems written in a simple and easy manner in which he has made several predictions.
He has predicted the rise and rule of Indira Gandhi, MGR and NTR. He also predicted the devastating floods in Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh.
He entered Samadhi alive in 1693. A well-known astronomer and saint, he has predicted his rebirth at a time when the world would be on the brink of chaos and confusion.
Known as Pothuluri Veerabrahmam or Pothuluri Veera-Brahmendra Swamy, he was born to Paripurnachari and Prakrithamba in a small village of  Kandimallayapalle in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.
His parents died soon after Veerabrahmam was born. He was brought up in the Atri Mahamuni Ashram. One day, Veerabhojayacharya of the Paapagni Mutt, Chikballapur, visited the ashrama.
Sage Atri gave the child to the Veerabhojayacharya and his wife. The couple returned to Paapagni Mutt with the child and named him as Veeram Bhotlaiah.
When he was just eleven years of age, he wrote Kalikamba Sapthashathi in praise of Goddess Kali. Days after he wrote this book, Veerabhojayacharya died and Veeram Bhotlaiah left the ashrama on his spiritual journey.
He soon began preaching philosophy and people called him Srimadvirat Pothuluri Veera Brahmendra Swamy.
People began flocking to his discourses. Meanwhile, he began predicting events and incidents and also wrote two books- Kalagnanam and Atmagnanam- in Telugu. Kalagnanam is a  collection of prophecies on palm leaves.
He predicted the British rule in India, the gradual disintegration of the caste system, invention of train and airplane, electricity and electronic gadgets, the birth and life of Mahatma Gandhi, widow remarriages and social acceptance of divorces.
His other predictions include the Bhopal gas tragedy, tsunami, earthquake of San Fransisco in 1906, world wars, floods, earthquakes and the rule of India by a widow (Indira Gandhi) and the rise of P.V. Narasimha Rao as Prime Minister.
He has predicted the arrival of Kalki in the form of  Veerabhoga Vasantharaya.
He had disciples cutting across all religions and caste. His first disciple was a Muslim. The Nawabs of Kadapa, Hyderabad, and Kurnool were his devotees. Kakaiah, a cobbler, was a devotee.
